What I Write for the Screen
I’m one of those writers who gets fascinated (or confused and annoyed) at something and an idea emerges. Life throws a curveball? Screenplay. Wondering why anti-war protestors don’t go extreme? Pilot. Why is possession in horror films always about some kid with zero power or super obvious? Horror film idea. What would it take to get a politician to tell the truth?… You get the idea.
The genre doesn’t matter, I’ll figure it out to get at the question and the script.
